Bullying Prevention

The Medical Lake School District provides annual training on bullying prevention to all staff each year. Bullying allegations are taken very seriously. Students will be disciplined for harassing, intimidating, or bullying (HIB). Disciplinary actions range from conferences and peer mediation to suspension or expulsion, depending upon severity.

How to Report Bullying
If your student reports bullying at home, contact the school principal immediately. The principal will make sure there is an investigation and appropriate corrective action when necessary.

If you need to take further action ~

Please fill out the HIB Reporting Form and return it to your child's school office. This will start a formal process which is outlined in Policy 3207 and Procedure 3207P
