Taking Care of Our Facilities

Caring for school facilities takes consistent effort, foresight, and wise use of limited resources; and the Medical Lake School District has made that a priority over the last decade. Like many rural districts, Medical Lake operates without the luxury of abundant capital funding, yet the district has remained steadfast in its responsibility to maintain the buildings where students learn, staff work, and the community gathers.
By pairing voter-approved capital levy dollars with the modest maintenance funding provided by the State, the district has been able to address a broad range of facility needs; from critical repairs to meaningful upgrades that improve the day-to-day experience for everyone inside these buildings. Each dollar has been stretched with purpose and accountability.
The projects highlighted below reflect that ongoing commitment. They represent real progress made in keeping Medical Lake's schools safe, functional, and worthy of the community that supports them.
