Medical Lake Dollars for Scholars Foundation has initiated a project to raise endowment funds for future scholarships for graduates of Medical Lake High School. The goal is to reach $50,000 in three years; currently the MLDFS Endowment Fund is at $24,000 and is invested in a diverse portfolio.
The Campaign is seeking a minimum of 100 individuals/families who commit to contributing a minimum of $50/year for three years. Based on this fundraising project and other fundraising efforts, we anticipate the Endowment will total approximately $45,000 (plus interest/dividends accrued) at the end of the three years.
Invoices will be mailed/emailed each November for the following year. Please respond as soon as possible to the invoice to help us minimize administrative costs. Donors will receive an annual donation letter for tax information purposes by December 31 each year. Medical Lake Dollars for Scholars Foundation is an IRS recognized not-for-profit corporation, tax ID # 41-1989406 and STAR donations are fully tax-deductible.
