The Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice test that measures students' knowledge and ability in ten different areas. This test is used to determine interest and ability for possible career choices and entry into the military.
The ASVAB will be given to current 11th grade students at 7:55am on Thursday, December 10 in the high school auditorium. If current 12th grade students would like to retake the test they can also participate on December 10th. Interested 12th grade students need to see Mr. Carver to register to take the test, 11th grade students do not need to register.
Dr. Steven Cook from the Military Entrance Processing Command (MEPS) will be at MLHS on Thursday, January 28th at 8am in the auditorium to discuss the results of the ASVAB and what they mean for students looking into options after high school.
National Honors Society members are tutoring again at lunch in the counseling center! Tutors will be available every day, during lunch, from October-May.
