Schedules for the year are now visible in Family Access! Attached to this email is a schedule change request form. These forms need parent/guardian signatures before they can be accepted. Students have the first 5 days of school to make class changes (last day to change classes will be Wednesday, September 7th) . Each student can request a schedule change one time. Additional changes will require administrative approval.
One additional note: PE and Weights have been changed to “Life Fitness”. This new class will incorporate weights, cardio and other fitness activities.

SENIOR ALL NIGHTER CLASS OF 2017
We are so excited to be getting started on the 2017 Senior All Nighter!!!!! We will be having our first meeting on Monday August 29, 6pm at the Pizza Factory. We are looking for parents, grandparents and guardians of seniors or future seniors....it never hurts to get a head start on your future seniors all nighter. So please come join us in making the Senior All Nighter the most Memorable and Safest Night of Your Seniors Life...it takes an army to make it a success!!!
National Honors Society members are tutoring again at lunch in the counseling center! Tutors will be available every day, during lunch, from October-May. Please take advantage of this as a resource for students who might need extra help reviewing, making corrections or getting extra academic support.

PAYMENT FOR AP EXAMS DEADLINE MARCH 25
ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) REIMBURSEMENTS
If your student scored a 3,4,or 5 on their AP exam for the
2016 school year please submit the score report to the main office at the
High School for reimbursement.
You are eligible for the reimbursement of the exam fee for each exam with a score of 3,4 or 5.
The district office will automatically be sending a check by end of October.
BIG congratulations to Medical Lake School District for making it to the Advanced Placement Honor Roll! Medical Lake made the honor roll by maintaining or increasing the amount of students taking AP classes at the High School level and having more students achieving a score of 3 or higher on AP tests.
